Step 1: Foundation

After thoroughly cleansing and moisturizing your face, grab a color that closely matches your skin tone and a makeup sponge to apply. Make sure to cover your entire palette, including your chin, forehead and the area near your ears. Carefully blend to eliminate lines. Adding foundation to your lids will help shadow and liner last longer.

Step 2: Powder

Now that you’ve prepped with foundation, you can lightly add a layer of powder with a makeup brush to finish. Adding powder eliminates shine for a more finished look. Topping any routine with a last-minute lipstick with polish and complete your efforts. First, define the outline of your lips with a liner that closely matches the tone of your lipstick. Then, apply either a roll-on hue or dab on with a lip brush. Start from the center of your pout and work outwards. Make sure to fill the entire mouth area, dabbing the color in until the surface is covered. Then, press your lips together to finish.
